FAQ
Do you provide free quotes?
Yes. There is never a charge for a quote.
How do I know if my property is appropriate for a well?
A well can be put on any property. There are some state and local requirements about what the water can be used for, or how a well will need to be completed, but a well can be drilled just about anywhere.
What are the benefits of a well?
No water bill. In some cases where a community water system is not available, it’s the only option.
How much does a new well cost?
There really isn’t a single answer to this question. The price of a well is going to depend on many factors. Depth, size of the casing, type of well design, size of pumping and storage equipment.
How long might the project take?
Usually, our goal is to finish a well within one calendar week. However, that is a loose estimation. Depth, strata, and many other factors can affect the length of time needed to complete the well.
Will I get to see the plans?
Yes. We include a schematic diagram of the selected well design with every estimate.
Can I make changes to the plans as the project is underway?
To an extent. However, any changes made would likely affect the price of the well.
What if the costs run over?
Water well drilling is an exploratory process, and as such, it is not always possible to determine the exact depth we will have to drill to or the size of the pumping equipment we will have to use. That being said, we pride ourselves on providing you with the most accurate estimate possible. If we believe that a project is going to cost more than we quoted, we will notify you and discuss the situation and always get your approval before continuing.
